More Than (31) Thousand Students Benefit from The Muslim World League Activities in Holy Quran Memorization During Two Months
The Muslim World League, MWL, organized seven activities during the last two months for encouraging Muslim children demand towards the Book of Allah in (15) countries from three continents in which (31783) students benefited from it.
The general secretary of the Holy Quran Memorization International Organization, HQMI, - which follows MWL - Dr. Abdullah Basfar said: the organization accomplished the seven activities mentioned implementing the command of the general secretary of MWL Dr. Muhammad Abdul Kareem Al Eisa. These activities included competitions, courses of Holy Quran memorization, reciting and Tajweed in the different readings as well as graduation ceremonies of Quran memorizers which are excellent in memorizing and Tajweed, announcing scholarships, distributing Qurans, publishing a number of books and participating in five television programs for Holy Quran memorization.
The Quran competition consists of three levels which are: local –state level-, regional –continent level- and international in which (2261) students participated from three continents. The Quran competition was held in Asia at three centers: first one is (Quran Master) competition in Sri Lanka with (59) participants, second one is a Quran competition in Turkey with (1500) participants and the third one is (the great competition for Quran and Sunnah) in Philippines with (67) participants.
Considering the Quran competitions held in Europe, they were at three centers also: first one is the European competition in Croatia with (62) participants, second one is the international competition in the united Russia with (31) participants and the third one is the Quran competition in Bosnia with (42) participants. Moreover, for Africa, (Quran Master) competition was held for boys in Egypt with (500) participants.
Dr. Abdullah Basfar pointed out to that HQMI held an activity for Quran courses by assigning teachers with scientific and educational qualifications in order to train and qualify the teachers of HQMI as well as the graduators of its institutes who are (77) in total.
On the other hand, Quran courses were held in two Asia countries: (Tuhfat Al Atfal and Al Juzaryah) course in Kyrgyzstan with (44) participants and a Quran course for female teachers in Malawi with (33) participants.
Also, (102) students from two Asian countries benefited from the activity of HQMI in the graduation ceremony for Holy Quran memorization, mastering and Tajweed in which a graduation ceremony was held for (70) graduators from (Zaid bin Thabit) institute in Philippines and another one for (32) graduators from (Quran Memorization) establishment in Bosnia.
HQMI provided, through the scholarships activity of Holy Quran Memorization, (64) scholarships for proceeding pre and post graduate studies in religious, scientific and management disciplines in eight countries, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia got seven of them: one for Doctoral degree, four for Master and three for Medical study while Palestine got one scholarship for Master, South Africa got two: one for Master and the other one for Bachelor degree, Sudan got three scholarships for Master degree. On the other hand, Somalia got the most with a number of 25 scholarships for Bachelor degree while Cameron got five: four of them for Bachelor and one for Master degree, Egypt got 17 scholarships for Bachelor degree, Bosnia got three: two of them for Master and one for Doctoral degree.
However, HQMI – which follows MWL – has distributed (26599) Quran and (2673) books during the last two months amongst teachers and students of the institutes, foundations, organizations and Quran centers which follow HQMI. Moreover, HQMI published two scientific books: first one is titled “Come to Love Quran” by Dr. Anas Karzon and the other one is titled “Interpretation of Al Sajdah and Al Insan Surah” by Dr. Abdullah Basfar. Also, HQMI republished the following books: “Quran Circles” book by Prof. Abdul Muti Tulimat, “Al Jami’ Al Mukhtasar fi Mustalah Ahl Alathar” by Dr. Muhammad Shuaib, “Al Juman fi Usul Aliman” by Prof. Majd Makki, “Alathkar Ltullab Alhalaqat” by Prof. Muhammad Fahmi Al Saqqa, “Wasaya wa Fawa’ed fi Hifth Al Quran” by Dr. Anas Karzon.
HQMI participated during the last two months in five television programs for Holy Quran memorization included the media activities of (King Abdul Aziz International Competition for Holy Quran) in its 38th time which was held at the Mecca under the sponsorship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud. It also included another contribution in the Quran International Conference at Abha university which is sponsored by Aser region Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdul Aziz. Also, HQMI contributed in the activities of Mosco International competition for Holy Quran, European competition in Croatia, Al Imam Makki bin Abi Talib Al Qaisi seminar and the efforts in serving the Holy Quran in Jordon.
