In Collaboration with The International Organization, A Quran Competition was Held in Mauritius in The Participation of 29 Competitors
In collaboration with the Holy Quran Memorization International Organization, HQMI, Hassan bin Thabit institute has organized a Quran competition in Mauritius country in which 29 competitors participated at the Islamic Cultural Center in Mauritius. It consists of four categories: memorizing the entire Quran, 15 Juz', 3 Juz' and 1 Juz' under the supervision of a jury consists of 3 members. Moreover, an honoring ceremony was held for the competitors attended by the Prime Minister Mr. Zafih Jefal, the deputy at the parliament Mr. Basheer Jhankir, the representative of HQMI Mr. Muhammad Yusuf Ali Jama'an, a number of scholars, teachers and students. In addition, some speeches were delivered in which speakers addressed the significant of the Holy Quran and the need of Muslims to learn it as well as they pointed out to the great role that HQMI plays in serving teaching and spreading the Holy Quran as well as paying attention to its memorizers all over the world, in Mauritius particularly. They also encouraged the parents to engage their children in Quran schools, thanked those who participated in the success of the competition activities and valued the great role that the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz plays for Muslim nation people and for spreading the Book of Allah and teaching it to its children all over the world. At the end, competitors were honored.
