In the Participation of 206 Students, the Quran Memorization Academy and the International Organization hold a Quran Competition in the USA
Under the sponsorship of Quran Memorization Academy and in collaboration with the Holy Quran Memorization International Organization, HQMI, a Quran competition in Chicago, USA is held in which 206 students have participated. It consists of 6 categories: memorizing the entire Quran, 25, 20, 15, 10 and 3 Juz’. Moreover, the competition activities were supervised by a jury consists of 10 members as well as an honoring ceremony for this occasion attended by the dean of Sharia College and the chairman of Holy Quran Keeping Foundation in Jordon Dr. Muhammad Khazir Almajali, the deputy chairman of Holy Quran Keeping Foundation in Jordon Dr. Ahmed Shukri, the Sheikh of readers of Beirut Sheikh Mahmood Alakkawi, the representative of HQMI Sheikh Hisham Alhusain and a gathering of scholars, thinkers, Sheikhs as well as students and their parents. The ceremony has started with a recitation of the Holy Quran followed by some delivered speeches in which speakers have pointed out to the importance of learning Quran and memorizing it. They have also provided guidance and advices to the teachers, Sheikhs, students and memorization centers thanking them for their great effort in Quran work and lauding the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz for their support of Quran and Muslim children all over the world. Moreover, they have commended the effort exerted by HQMI in serving Quran and its memorizers all over the world. At the end, prizes were distributed amongst the winners.
