In collaboration with the International Organization, 111 Students Participate in the Quran Competition that Book of Allah Serving Foundation holds in Ethiopia
In collaboration with the Holy Quran Memorization International Organization, HQMI, the Book of Allah Serving Foundation has held a Quran competition teaching and memorizing at Al-Noor Islamic institute in which 111 students have participated. It consists of four categories: memorizing the entire Quran, 20 Juz’, 10 and 5 Juz’ under the supervision of a jury consists of four members. Moreover, an honoring ceremony was held for the participants of this competition attended by Sheikh Umar Khudair Ambu the chairman of High Council for Islamic Affairs in Dire Dawa, Sheikh Nasurdeen Sheikh Abdurrahman the director of Islamic Center in Dire Dawa, Sheikh Abdussalam Umar the consultant of Al-Noor Islamic institute administrative council, Mr. Khalid bin Uthman the representative of HQMI and a number of Sheiks and those who are interested in Quran matters, teachers, memorizers and their parents. Moreover, some speeches were delivered in which the speakers expressed their happiness and joy attending such a great competition as well as they thanked the organizers and congratulate the winners of students. They also encouraged the students to continuo memorizing and mastering the Holy Quran following its guidance as well as to be good examples to others in their communities. In addition, they pointed out to the great effort exerted by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz in spreading and teaching Quran all over the world and lauded the effort exerted by HQMI in serving the Quran matters and its memorizers in Ethiopia in particular and all over the world. At the end, prizes were distributed amongst the winners of the competition.
