Mishkah Foundation in Holland Organizes a Quran Competition in Collaboration with The International Organization
In collaboration with Holy Quran Memorization International Organization, HQMI, Mishkah Foundation has organized a Quran competition in Holland in which 78 competitors have participated. It consists of seven categories which are: memorizing the entire Quran, memorizing half of the Quran, memorizing 10, 5, 3, 1 Juza’ and a category of Tarteel for new Muslims. Moreover, the activities of the competition were supervised by a jury consists of 6 members headed by Dr. Salem Al-Zahrani the readings professor of Umm Al-Qura university and five female members for female jury. In addition, an honoring ceremony was held for this occasion attended by Sheikh Dr. Salem bin Gharamallah Al-Zahrani, Sheikh Dr. Abdulhameed Balqasimi the general writer of Imams Foundation of Holland, Dr. Muhammad Budhil the general consul of the Kingdom of Morocco in South Holland, Dr. Khaled Marghub Alhindi the representative of HQMI and a gathering of thinkers, scholars, those who are interested in Quran matters as well as students and their parents. The ceremony has started with a recitation of the Holy Quran followed by some delivered speeches in which speakers pointed out to the significance of learning Quran and paying attention to its memorizers. They have also provided guidance and advice to the competitors as well as thanked them for their hard working and lauded the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz for their support for Muslim nation children all over the world. Moreover, they have commended the great effort exerted by HQMI in serving the Holy Quran and paying attention to its memorizers all over the world. At the end, prizes were distributed amongst the winners.
