In Collaboration with the Holy Quran Memorization International Organization (HQMI), Muslim Youth Association holds a Quran Competition in Zimbabwe
Muslims Youth Association in collaboration with HQMI and under the sponsorship of The Higher Council for Islamic Affairs in Zimbabwe has held a Quran competition in which 30 competitors have participated. It consists of three categories which are: memorizing 15 Juz’, 10 and 5 Juz’. Also, it was supervised by a jury of 6 members where an honoring ceremony was held for the participants of this competition in Arcadia Mosque attended by the general-secretary of The Higher Council for Islamic Affairs Sheikh Adam Salam, the secretary of the general-secretary The Higher Council Sheikh Mustafa Btiya, the representative of the Kuwaiti Direct Aid Association Sheikh Anubi Tabi, the representative of HQMI Sheikh Hani Muhammed Alramadi, a number of directors of associations and Islamic organizations, teachers and students and a gathering of citizens. Moreover, speeches were delivered in this occasion in which the speakers have pointed out to the importance of holding such competitions and the great benefits in return to the memorizers of the Holy Quran and Muslim community in Zimbabwe. They have also lauded the great effort exerted by HQMI in serving the Holy Quran and supporting the Quran institute students. Also, they have pointed out to the great role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz in serving Islam and Muslims all over the world as well as thanked all of those who contributes in the success of the competition congratulating the winners of students and encouraging them to exert more effort in memorizing Quran and follow its commands. At the end, prizes were distributed amongst the winners.
