The Holy Quran Memorization International Organization (HQMI) holds a Quran competition in Russia
In collaboration with HQMI, the Russian Mufti Council has held a Quran competition in the trade shows center in Perm city of Russia in which 50 competitors have participated in three categories: memorizing the entire Quran, memorizing two Juz’ and reciting Quran. A jury of three members was formed. Moreover, an honoring ceremony was held for the participants attended by the Mufti of Perm region in Russia Sheikh Elham Bibarsuv, the deputy Mufti of middle Russia Sheikh Anwar Abilav, the director of Uthman bin Affan institute in Russia Mr. Ibrahim Saberuv, a number of those who are interested in Quran matters, a gathering of citizens, the memorizers and their parents. The ceremony was begun with a recitation of the Holy Quran followed by some delivered speeches in which speakers welcomed the audience, thanked them for their participation in the Quran competition as well as mentioned the high state of the memorizers of the Holy Quran in their communities as well as in Allah site. They have also congratulated the memorizers and encouraged them to care of memorizing the Holy Quran with Tajweed and to follow its morals and what is within it as well as to be good examples in their societies. Moreover, they have thanked the organizers of the competition lauding the great effort exerted by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz in the field of teaching Quran as well as publishing it. In addition, they lauded the effort exerted by HQMI in serving the Holy Quran, teaching it and publishing it all over the world. At the end, prizes were distributed amongst the memorizer winners.
