The Holy Quran Memorization International Organization (HQMI) holds a Quran Competition for 57 participants in Benin

In collaboration with Abu Bakr Al Siddique secondary institute for qualification of Quran competition memorizers, HQMI holds a Quran competition in Benin in which 57 participants have participated. It consists of four categories: memorizing the entire Quran, memorizing the entire Quran along with Al Jazariya volume, memorizing the entire Quran along with Mufradat and memorizing the entire Quran along with Tuhfat Al Atfal. A jury consists of four members supervised the competition activities. At the end of the competition activities, an honoring ceremony was held for the participants attended by the chairman of the Higher Institute and Islamic Affairs Sheikh Muhammad Basheer Gabriel, the Sultan of Cobargo City Mr. Sultan Yaqub Thatu, the Judge and representative of Islamic Foundations and Organizations Mr. Shuaib Essa Fufana, the representative of HQMI Sheikh Abdullah Abdullatif Al Mas and a number of those who are interested in Quran matters as well as students and their parents.
The ceremony started with a recitation of the Holy Quran followed by some delivered speeches in which speakers thanked the organizers for organizing this Quran competition, thanked HQMI and its employees and on the top of them the general-secretary of HQMI Dr. Abdullah Basfar for their continuous support in serving the Holy Quran all over the world and in Benin particularly as well as lauded the great effort exerted by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz for what they offer for Muslims all over the world. At the end of the ceremony, gifts and prizes were distributed to winners of the competition.
