The Holy Quran Memorization International Organization (HQMI) holds two Quran Competitions for the youngest memorizer and the best in understanding Quran as well as it honors the winners of Eight International Award
HQMI has held a Quran competition for the youngest memorizer in its headquarter of Al Naseem District in Jeddah city in which 29 students (both males and females) have participated from 13 different countries: Bangladesh, Somalia, Egypt, India, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Chad, Jordan, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Algeria, Mozambique, Indonesia. Also, it has held the finalists of the best in understanding Quran competition in its fourth version in which 22 competitors have participated from: Jordan, Sudan, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Bosnia, Uganda, Ukraine, Indonesia, India, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tatarstan, Mauretania, Afghanistan, Philippines, France, Ghana, Ethiopia, Dagestan, Somalia, Tajikistan and this was included in the Eight International Award activities which was sponsored by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may Allah bless him – which HQMI holds in Jeddah province on the coming Monday. HQMI will honor in the ceremony a number of distinct figures, universities, institutes, Sheikhs of recitation, well-known persons, academics, specialists in Quran studies and TV channels and internet websites which are interested in Quran matters that won in this year.
HQMI aims from holding such annual awards to acknowledge the great efforts exerted in serving the Holy Quran all over the world as well as to honor the distinct of them in serving Quran work and to encourage the organizers to continue paying attention to Quran work all over the world. It also aims to keep evolving Quran foundations and their educational ways as well as to uplift the memorizers of the Holy Quran all around the world.
