239 memorizers participate in the Quran Competition in Chad
239 memorizers (both males and females) have participated in the Quran Competition which was held lately in republic of Chad in collaboration between Taibah institute for Quran memorizers qualification and Holy Quran Memorization International Organization (HQMI) under the sponsorship of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs. The competition consists of five categories: memorizing the entire Quran along with the ten recitation ways, memorizing the entire Quran along with Al Jazariya volume, memorizing the entire Quran along with 40 Hadith, memorizing the entire Quran along with Mufradat, memorizing the entire Quran for young memorizers. A jury of five members was formed for the activities of this competition and a ceremony was held for this occasion in King Faisal University hall attended by the deputy chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs Dr. Muhammad Khatir Sanousi, the ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Mr. Fahad Hakami, the representative of national education ambassador Mr. Muhammad Ahmed Aseel Ghazali, the deputy chairman of King Faisal University Dr. Muhammad Ayoub, the representative of HQMI Sheikh Muhammad Abu Faisal Al Qahtani as well as a number of scholars, Sheikh, teachers, students and a gathering of citizens. The ceremony has started with a recitation of the Holy Quran followed by a speech by the deputy chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in which he thanked the organizers of the competition, lauded the effort exerted by HQMI in serving the Holy Quran all over the world, in Chad particularly. Then, some speeches were delivered pointing out to the great role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the leadership of the Cusodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz in serving Islam and Muslims as well as they congratulated and encouraged the memorizers for paying attention of the Book of Allah. They also encouraged them to exert more effort in memorizing the Holy Quran considering Tajweed. At the end, prizes and gifts were distributed to the winners.
