In collaboration with the Holy Quran Memorization International Organization (HQMI), 55 students participate in the Holy Quran competition in Thailand
In collaboration with HQMI, Charitable Foundation for teaching Quran in Prince of Songkla university in Thailand has held a Quran competition in which 55 students have participated. The competition consists of 5 categories: memorizing the entire Quran, 20 Juz', 10 Juz', 5 Juz' and one Juz'. The jury was chosen for the purpose of supervising the competition consisting of seven members. At the end of the competition, an honoring ceremony was held for the participants attended by the vice of Islamic studies collage in Prince of Songkla university, Dr. Muhammad Rafli Hama, the chairman of Charitable foundation for teaching Quran, Sheikh Muhammad Ismail Braheng, the chairman of moderation in the university, Dr. Ali Mahama Samu, the representative of HQMI, Sheikh Hani Muhammad Al Ramadi and a number of those who are interested in Quran as well as the students and their parents. In addition, some speeches were delivered in which speakers have expressed their happiness and joy attending such a competition. They have also thanked the organizers, congratulated the winners and encouraged them to continue memorizing and mastering the Holy Quran as well as they lauded the great efforts exerted by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz in serving Islam and Muslims as well as caring of the Book of Allah. In addition, they have appreciated the great effort exerted by HQMI for paying attention to the work of Quran all over the world and particularly in Thailand. At the end of the ceremony, prizes were presented to the winners of the competition.
