In collaboration with the Holy Quran Memorization International Organization (HQMI), Isha'a AL Ulum university in India holds a Quran competition
HQMI has held, in collaboration with the Islamic university, Isha'a AL Ulum, in India, a Quran competition in which 261 memorizers have participated. The competition consists of four categories: memorizing the entire Quran, memorizing 10 chapters, Tafseer of Surah Al-'A`raf, memorizing prophetic Hadith. The jury of the competition was formed, headed by Sheikh Musa Bilal Meniar and other five members. An honoring ceremony was held for the participants of the competition in the headquarter of Isha'a AL Ulum university attended by Dr. Abdullah Basfar, the secretary-general of HQMI, Hajj Abdul Qader Al Fadhlani, the chairman of Al Fadhlani and Supari & Ela universal companies, Sheikh Al Hafidh Basheer Bathia, the main director of Zakaria Dar Al Ulum in South Africa, Sheikh Abdullah Al Kafudroi, the chairman of Falah Darin University and a number of those who are interested in Quran and its knowledge, teachers, students and their parents. The ceremony has started with a recitation from the Holy Quran followed by some speeches delivered about the importance of Quran, memorizing it and mastering it amongst youth of Muslim nation in which the speakers congratulated the memorizers who participate in the competition as well as encouraged them to continuo memorizing the Quran, apply what is within it in real life and to be good examples in their communities. The speakers thanked the organizers of the competition as well as lauded the great effort exerted by HQMI in serving the Holy Quran. They also pointed out to the blessed tasks that the government of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in serving Islam and Muslims publishing and teaching the Holy Quran to Muslims' children all over the world. At the end, prizes were distributed amongst the winners.
