Under the sponsorship of the governor of Jeddah, Prince Mishaal bin Majed, The Holy Quran Memorization International Organization (HQMI) holds the 6th competition for the Holy Quran schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Under the sponsorship of Prince Mishaal bin Majed, the governor of Jeddah, HQMI, in the collaboration with Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia, holds the 6th competition for the Holy Quran schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and that is in Rajab of 1436 H with 45 participants. In addition, qualifying the participants starts through 9, 10 and 11 of Rajab - 1436 H in Jeddah. The competition consists of three categories: first category is for memorizing and mastering Tajweed for the entire Quran and it is for high school students, second category is for memorizing and mastering Tajweed for the entire Quran and it is for intermediate school students, third category is for memorizing from Surat Al Kahf to Surat An-Nas with mastering Tajweed for primary school students. Besides, the administration of Islamic enlightenment chooses the participants in the finalists of those who got excellent grade (90% or more) in memorizing the Holy Quran from all the administrations of the Holy Quran schools in the Kingdom regions, which are 15 in number, in each category such that the candidate of the finalists has never participated in the same category. Most notably that the number of the Holy Quran schools in the Kingdom has reached 2000 schools in which 300,000 students study in. Thus, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is so proud of serving the Holy Quran.
